About NMR2
Since 1982, the NMR spectroscopists in the New Mexico area have been meeting about twice a year. The meetings are always on Saturdays, include talks, posters, lunch, and an after-meeting activity. A complete list of dates and speakers is available here.

85th New Mexico Regional NMR2 Meeting
Date: Saturday, 3 May, 2025
Location: Room 101 (Auditorium at the north end of the building) of Clark Hall at UNM in Albuquerque
Schedule:
- 8:30 am Bagels, Juice and Coffee -- Poster set up.
- 9:00 am Harris Mason (LANL): Rad NMR: Determining the structure of actinide materials using static SSNMR
- 10:00 am coffee
- 10:30 Stefan Gloeggler (UT Southwestern): Parahydrogen enhanced magnetic resonance in high and low fields
- 11:30 am Introduction of Vendors – Posters.
- 11:45 am Lunch will be at Slate Street Cafe - hosted by Bruker.
- 2:00 pm Elaine Bearer (UNM-HSC): Brain states, microplastics and the search for cognition
- 3:00 pm Break -- cookies, posters, general discussion.
- 3:30 pm John Price (Q Magnetics & Univ. of Colorado): Benchtop NMR at 125 MHz
- Evening: Social Event at ABQMR. Hosted by Tecmag.
